Days 11 to 14

This leg of the tour starts with a drive to Swakopmund. Founded in 1892, Swakopmund is the capital of the Erongo province. It is an example of the colonial German architecture. You can even find German bread here. Gear up for some serious sand activities here that you may not be able to find anywhere else in Africa. The remaining two days of this tour are spent in the sand dunes of Sossusvlei. Here is where you find the famous red sand dunes and the salt and clay pan. The local Nama tribes called this place a ‘dead end’. Dune 45 is the most visited sand dune. Our tour ends in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. We celebrate the successes and the memories created on this tour over a few drinks and beautiful dinner at Joe’s beer garden.
